I spent my first summer in Squamish moving and grooving with The Sea to Sky Dance Collective. We performed at the Squamish Arts Festival and Into the Wild Festival. At first we met on Sunday evenings, then we met on Mondays, and in August we added extra rehearsals on Thursday evenings. I got to help make some choreography and lead a class which was fun. The best part was making new dance friends. I look forward to moving and grooving with this crew again and I am thankful and grateful for having them welcome me into the dance family.
